MP Dr Amar Singh holds meeting with senior NHAI officials

Ludhiana: Dr Amar Singh MP Shri Fatehgarh Sahib held a meeting with senior National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) officers to solve the NHAI related issues being faced by his constituency. The meeting was attended by MLAs Mr Randeep Singh Nabha, Mr Gurkirat Singh Kotli, Mr Lakhvir Singh Lakha and Mr Gurpreet Singh GP.
The NHAI was represented by Col Yogesh and Mr K Sachdeva, Project Directors of NH 44 and Ludhiana Kharar highway respectively. Also present was Mr Rajan Sharma ACP Traffic Ludhiana and Representatives from SOMA construction company.
Dr Amar Singh informed that the main issues discussed were need for flyover/underpass at 260-261 KM on GT Road in Amloh. The need for proper access and cuts to Fatehgarh Sahib from GT Road. The need for access at Maheshpura link road. MP and ACP traffic also discussed various challenges about Sahnewal’s traffic problems with NHAI team. The need for foot over bridge with ramps at various locations in Khanna, Doraha and Sahnewal. Lastly the need for better lighting of underpasses and proper development of access roads lying next to NH was also discussed. NHAI team will be visiting the field on March 3 and 5, 2020, to resolve various issues.
