Ludhiana, April 8, 2025: Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora on Tuesday inaugurated 10 dialysis machines at the Free Dialysis Centre operated by Helpful NGO in collaboration with Happy Forgings Limited at the Urban Community Health Centre, Jawadi.

Speaking on the occasion, Arora highlighted that the high-quality dialysis machines were donated by Paritosh Kumar Garg of Happy Forgings Limited on the occasion of birthday anniversary of his son Ashish Garg. Arora praised the gesture, calling it a meaningful way to celebrate a personal milestone while contributing to society.

“This noble act by Paritosh Kumar Garg sets an example for others to give back to the community. The donation of these machines is significant—they will help save the lives of hundreds of patients,” Arora said.

He also commended the team behind the Free Dialysis Centre for their dedication to providing critical medical services at no cost. “Medical treatment is increasingly expensive these days. A facility like this, offering high-quality care for free, is truly commendable and a model for other cities,” he said, adding that such advanced dialysis machines are typically only seen in top private hospitals.

Arora further shared that he had been informed of plans to establish a laboratory at the centre. He has taken the initiative to speak with Dr. Manisha Khanna, SMO, Urban Community Health Centre, Jawadi, to arrange for the necessary space at the earliest. He emphasised that the Free Dialysis Centre operates within a government facility, and the addition of a laboratory would significantly enhance the range of services provided to needy patients.

The MP reiterated the state government's support for NGOs dedicated to selfless public service under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann.

On the occasion, birthday of Ashish Garg was celebrated after cutting a cake.

Several dignitaries, including Deepak Garg, Rajiv Singla, Davinder Seth, Janak Raj Goyal, Ashok Bharti, Ramesh Bansal, Punit Bansal, Rajan Singla, Sandip Gupta, Mukesh Garg, Anuj Dawar, Swaran Bagga, Arun Behl, and Anurag Jain were present at the event.
