MP Sanjeev Arora Interacts with Youth at PCTE’s “Know Your MP” Session

Ludhiana, April 16, 2025: PCTE Group of Institutes proudly hosted an interactive session titled “Know Your MP” with Sanjeev Arora, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) today. The session provided students with a valuable opportunity to gain insights into the responsibilities of a Member of Parliament and to understand current political and developmental issues. The event served as a valuable opportunity for the youth to understand the roles and responsibilities of a Member of Parliament, gain clarity on current political developments, and engage directly with a key policymaker.
During the interaction, Mr. Arora spoke extensively about the development plans for Ludhiana, highlighting the city's projected GDP growth till 2047 and key infrastructure initiatives. He discussed the upcoming Halwara Airport, which is nearing operational status, and informed the audience that Air India has agreed to operate flights from the airport. He also touched upon major investments in solid waste management, the development of civil hospitals and medical colleges, and initiatives to promote rural tourism as a means to support agriculture.
Emphasizing civic responsibility, Arora urged students to respect their parents, avoid littering, and contribute positively to Ludhiana’s growth. He also encouraged the youth to consider politics as a path to serve society, stating that every educated individual has the potential to enter public service. Mr. Arora emphasized the importance of infrastructure-led progress and urged the students to take pride in their city. He encouraged them to contribute meaningfully to society, stay rooted in Ludhiana, and uphold values of civic responsibility—such as respecting parents and avoiding improper waste disposal.
The session concluded with an engaging Q&A, leaving students inspired and better informed about their role in shaping the future and inspired to contribute meaningfully to society and the nation’s development.
