MP Seechewal hold meeting with officials to stop dumping of cow dung, industrial and sewer waste in 'Buddha Dariya'
Rajya Sabha MP Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal held a review meeting with the officials of various departments to speed up the projects being taken up to rejuvenate 'Buddha Dariya' on Monday.

Ludhiana, April 7, 3035: Rajya Sabha MP Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal held a review meeting with the officials of various departments to speed up the projects being taken up to rejuvenate 'Buddha Dariya' on Monday.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held and strict directions were issued to the officials to stop the dumping of cow dung, industrial and sewer waste from different locations in the Buddha Dariya.
MC Additional Commissioner Paramdeep Singh, ADC Amarjit Bains, Chief Engineer Ravinder Garg, Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board (PWSSB) XEN Balraj Singh among other officials of Punjab Pollution Control Board (PPCB), drainage department, PSPCL etc were present in the meeting.
MP Seechewal said that the officials have also been directed to speed up the process to set up bio-gas plants in Haibowal and Tajpur road dairy complexes.
MP Seechewal stated that Chief Minister (CM) Bhagwant Singh Mann led state government is committed to rejuvenate Buddha Dariya. Stating that collective steps are required for cleaning the Dariya, MP Seechewal appealed to the residents and industry to support the authorities in achieving the goal.
