Ms.India Curvy starts auditions for with its next edition

New Delhi, December 2, 2019: Gurgaon Glamour is all geared up with the next pageant. The audition for this pageant started from Saturday in Delhi. This will be followed by Mumbai auditions on 8th December 2019, Kolkata on 15th December 2019 and Bangalore on 21st December 2019 and Jaipur on 28th December 2019. The finale of Ms India Curvy will be held on 5th January 2020.

Contestants applying for the pageants should be within the age of 18-45 years. The participants will face the jury panel and will be judged on their presentation, confidence and intellectual level. The panel comprises of some renowned beauty and fashion influencers like Akassh K Aggarwal, Namrata Garg, Shree Dembla, Abhishek Nangia along with Barkha Nangia, Director - Glamour Gurgaon. The concept of this beauty pageant is to celebrate womanhood and of all sizes. Their aim is to provide a platform for the plus size women to showcase their skills to the world and achieve their unspoken dreams.

The organizers of successful pageants like Mrs India Pride of Nation and other beauty pageants with a cause like Mrs Punjab – Pride of Nation and Mrs Delhi-NCR, Glamour Gurgaon conceptualized Ms.India Curvy that not only focuses on Breast Cancer Awareness but also addresses one of the main social stigmas of body shaming. Women of plus sizes don’t get their dues and are often cornered because of their curvy appearance.

Talking about the concept of Ms.India Curvy, Ms.Barkha Nangia, Director - Glamour Gurgaon and a plus-size model said, “We have come up with this pageant in order to prepare the aspirants, all body types, for the ramp. Through this platform we aim to give a befitting reply to those who believe only that only size zero women can be part of beauty contests. The selected contestants are groomed and are given beauty and fashion tips and are trained for the finale as well as the world beyond this pageant where they can realize their dreams.”
