MSME honors CT Varsity students for MDP’s one week session
Ludhiana, December 5, 2019: Management Development Program (MDP) in association with Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME-DI Ludhiana) awarded the Management Students of CT University (CTU), Ludhiana, Punjab for ‘Marketing Management’. The students were facilitated by Kundan Lal, Assistant Director MSME- DI Ludhiana and R.K. Parmar, Assistant Director, MSME- DI Ludhiana; awarding the participants with certificates from MSME. The students had been a part of one week session addressed by various resource persons from MSME. During this program, various sessions were conducted on relevant topics related to Marketing Management. Hands on practice were done by the participants through various case studies. Even, Industrial visits to Central Tool Room, Ludhiana and Gagan Mechanical Works were organized for the participants. Kundan Lal, while addressing the participants said, “With such certification for MDP, students can seek any assistance from MSME-DI when they desire to set up their own unit.” He also motivated the participants and assured them that MSME would help them in every possible aspect. Meanwhile, Dr Amrinder Singh, Head of School, Management Studies said, “Each session was beneficial for students as it connected them with the industry and enhanced their knowledge about setting up their own business in the near future.” Dr Harsh Sadwarti, Vice Chancellor CTU said, "These programs nurture the talent of youth by enlightening them on various aspects of industrial activity, improves their decision-making capabilities and makes them potential entrepreneurs resulting in higher productivity and profitability."
