Mudit Nayar Joins the Cast of ‘Kavya Ek Jazbaa, Ek Junoon’
Starting 29th July, Sony Entertainment Television’s much-loved drama, ‘Kavya Ek Jazbaa Ek Junoon’, will witness a 3-year leap wherein, putting the spotlight on a different side of Kavya (Sumbul Touqeer Khan). Once idealistic in her approach toaddressing pressing societal issues, Kavya post leap is unclear of her goals. She has taken a sabbatical from her job and moved to Mumbai to help a friend with her travel agency. When she lands in Lucknow again, at her parents’ request, a taxi driver named Vicky comes into her life and unknowingly gives her life lessons,compelling her to change for the better and get herself to do what matters.

The charming and energetic actor Mudit Nayar has been roped in to play Vicky, who will be instrumental in Kavya’s life in different ways. Vicky lives with his younger sister and grandmother, and he drives his uncle's taxi for a living. He is a simple, carefree, and down-to-earth person who lives in the moment without thinking about the future and prefers sleeping without the worries of tomorrow. Despite having a tragic past, he doesn’t carry that pain with him and often expresses serious and profound thoughts casually.
On returning to television after a long time with ‘Kavya – Ek Jazbaa, Ek Junoon’, Mudit Nayar shares, “I would like to thank the makers for this opportunity of playing such an interesting character, which compelled me to return to television. Despite being jovial and carefree, Vicky has a deep understanding of pain and varied emotions, making him a unique character. He is going to play an important role in Kavya’s life post leap and I am excited to see this character develop along the way.”
