Ludhiana, August 25, 2013: Naresh Gaur, Assistant General Secretary of the All-India State Bank of Patiala Employees Federation, has been appointed as the Workman Director on the Board of State Bank of Patiala (SBP).
The office-bearers congratulated Gaur on his appointment during the general body meeting at the Punjab Trade Centre here on Saturday. He was garlanded and honoured for the new appointment on the occasion.
The general body meeting also discussed among others things the anti-people banking sector reforms, contemplation for merger of public sector banks and unwarranted closure of associate banks.
