National-level integrated camp on theme of ‘ek bharat, shreshth bharat’ concludes at Lyallpur Khalsa College
Jalandhar, December 7, 2019: A five-day national level Integrated Camp on the theme of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshth Bharat’ concluded successfully at Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar. The Camp from 2nd to 6th December 2019 was put forth by Nehru Yuva Kendra, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, in collaboration with the host institution, saw the active participation of around 250 students from 13 states across the country. The concluding day of the camp saw the presence of Mr. Pargat Singh (Olympian and MLA), Mr. Sukhdev Singh (State Director, Youth Affairs) and Mr. Surinder Saini (Dy. Director, Youth Affairs). College Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra duly welcomed the dignitaries to the college and appreciated the virtue of this camp for participants. During the valedictory session, College Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra was given the ‘Award of Honor’ by Mr. Surinder Saini, for his unwavering support to the Nehru Yuva Kendra Programs. Prof. Ahuja Sandeep was also given an appreciation in documentation for his role as event coordinator from the host institution. Mr. Nityanand Yadav, Prof. JS. Rana, Prof Prabh Dyal, Prof Manohar Singh and Prof. Gitanjali Moudgil were also present on the occasion whilst the stage was eloquently conducted by Prof. Upma Arora.
