National Small Industries Corporation signs MOU with CGC Landran
MOU to align Academic Curriculum with Industry Requirements In order to bridge the gap between academic curriculum and Industry specific technologies along with enhancing the Job-readiness of the engineering graduates, CGC Landran has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with The National Small Industries Corporation LTD - Technical Services Centre (NSIC- TSC), Rajpura, a Government of India enterprises. The MOU is a step to facilitate Micro, Small and Medium entrepreneurs by offering advanced 6- weeks Industrial Training to the students of CGC Landran who have a bend towards startup and entrepreneurship. This will provide an edge to the students during the placement drive/ interviews ahead in their professional careers. The training will include various courses relevant to different branches of engineering as well as Computer Applications such as JAVA, Web designing, Networking, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Python, PHP, Cloud Computing, MATLAB, AutoCAD, CNC, Business Analytics and other courses. With the assistance of faculty and trainer provided by NSIC, the students will be imparted practical training within the college premises as well as NSIC-TSC Rajpura, depending upon the type of course. The first course on Artificial Intelligence will be initiated in the month of July with a batch size of 25 students. The ceremony witnesses the presence of Ram Kumar Yadav, DGM and Centre Head who shared various NSIC Schemes and skill training courses undertaken at the Centre for the support of MSME's.
