National Sports Day 2024 was celebrated on Friday in Employees' Insurance Corporation Model Hospital, Ludhiana to commemorate the birth anniversary of hockey legend Major Dhyan Chand.

Ludhiana, September 1, 2024: National Sports Day 2024 was celebrated on Friday in Employees' Insurance Corporation Model Hospital, Ludhiana to commemorate the birth anniversary of hockey legend Major Dhyan Chand.
The function was started with the oath of Fit India by Dr.Khyathi Indira Rani, Deputy Medical Superintendent along with the staff.
To mark this occasion, the hospital was divided into four teams, cadre wise – doctors, paramedical, nursing and administration. Officers and employees participated enthusiastically in sports and teams took part in cricket, Race, volleyball, table tennis, Tug of war and plank challenge.
In the closing ceremony of the program, Dr.Khyathi Indira Rani, Deputy Medical Superintendent awarded winners team- Team Doctors with Major Dhyan Chand Trophy.
On this occasion, Suneel Kumar Negi, Deputy Director, Govind Bhardwaj, Deputy Director, Dilwar Singh Assistant Director and Bimla, ANS In-charge along with many officers, doctors and employees were present.
