Panjab University, Chandigarh, organized National Teacher’s Day celebration to commemorate 2021-2022 retired teachers of the university at Golden Jubilee Hall, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
Chandigarh, September 6, 2022: Panjab University, Chandigarh, organized National Teacher’s Day celebration to commemorate 2021-2022 retired teachers of the university at Golden Jubilee Hall, Panjab University, Chandigarh. The program was hosted for the first time in the university which was intended to pay tribute to all the teachers who have completed their tenure of service in the university for the session 2021-2022.
Prof. Raj Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, P.U. proposed this idea to honour the stalwarts for their commendable service. The event was graced by the worthy presence of senior dignitaries of Panjab University, DUI Prof. Renu Vig, Director (RDC) Prof. Sudhir Kumar, Registrar Y.P. Verma and other dignitaries from the various departments of University.
Prof. Vig shared her experience about life after retirement whereas Prof. Sudhir Kumar graced the event by reciting a beautiful poem in the honour of retired teachers. Worthy registrar, Prof. Y.P. Verma gave his concluding remarks by delivering the vote of thanks. At last, on the behalf of all the retirees, Prof. Bhupinder Singh Bhoop expressed his heartfelt gratitude towards university for organizing this ceremony.
