Ludhiana, September 18, 2014: Ludhiana Deputy Commissioner Rajat Aggarwal informed that the National Voluntary Blood Donation Day would be celebrated in all parts of the district on large scale on October 1, 2014.
A special drive to highlight the importance of voluntary blood donation would also be organised from October 1 to 31.
Giving reference to a letter received from Hussan Lal, project director, Punjab State AIDS Control Society, Rajat Aggarwal said that several blood donation camps would be organised in the district, besides seminars to educate residents about the need of voluntary blood donation would also be organised.
