Dharamsala, July 27, 2022: The nationwide employment struggle journey was started by the Congress today at Nagrota Bagwan near here, in presence of Congress leaders like State election in-charge Rajeev Shukla, Leader of Opposition in HP Assembly Mukesh Agnihotri, Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, president of the State Promotion Committee, AICC Secretary RS Bali, Congress spokesperson Alka Lanva and many others.
The promises Congress made while launching Rozgar Sangharsh Yatra to provide Rs.680 crores - youth startup fund at 0% interest loan, 5 lakh jobs in government and private sector, guarantee of old pension scheme OPS, 10 years imprisonment in paper leaks, special package in the sector of Hotel –Homestays -Adventure-sports and Horticulture and recruitments in various departments.
This function was organised to celebrate the birthday of congress leader of the state, late sh GS Bali and this employment journey was dedicated to him because, in 2012, GS Bali had given unemployment allowance by fighting for the unemployed in HP.
AICC Secretary RS Bali said that he will fulfill the responsibility given to him by the high command with full dedication regarding the Rozgar Sangharsh Yatra. He said that in this employment journey, all the unemployed youth of Himachal Pradesh will join to make this journey a great success.
The state election in-charge Rajiv Shukla said that youth unemployed are roaming around the country but the BJP government is not ready to take care of them, he said that the BJP government had promised to provide 2 crore jobs every year but till now even 16 lakh youth could not get the employment. In contrast, many youths were fired from their jobs.
