Navratri for me……..

Navratri for me……..

Shrenu Parikh aka Astha from Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon – Ek Baar Phir said, “Being a Gujarati, Navratri is really big for me. I belong to Baroda and every year I go back home to celebrate the nine days of non-stop fun with friends and family! However that looks difficult this year and hence I have decided to play dandiya with my co-stars of Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon! I would love to teach & flaunt some very cool moves on the sets. Avinash is a lot of fun off-screen and I am sure we will have a great time dancing unlike our on-screen chemistry.”

Esha Kansara aka Kritika Shergill from Ek Nanad Ki Khushiyon Ki Chaabi… Meri Bhabhi said, “Working on a show that has a big joint family has its own advantages! Kanchi & I have already decided to have girls versus boys dandiya session after our shoot on the sets with the Meri Bhabhi team. The most exciting part will be to dance with Kawaljeet sir & Supriyaji who are extremely young at heart and believe in everyday should be a celebration! We are all sure that they will give us all a tough competition all through!”

Kanchi Kaul aka Shradha from Ek Nanad Ki Khushiyon Ki Chaabi… Meri Bhabhi said,

“Though we play sisters-in-law in Meri Bhabhi, Esha & I have become really good friends. Navratri has always brought a lot of excitement for me. I wish we get some time off and get to go out during the festival. When I was in college, my friends and I always made it a point to dress in the traditional ghaghra choli and visited dandiya functions.”

Devoleena Bhattacharjee aka Gopi from Saath Nibhana Saathiya says,

“I think I am extremely lucky that Saathiya is based on a Gujarati family! We not only get to enjoy all festivals on the sets but also dress up & play the part. The show has some very interesting sequences around Navratri & all important rituals including pooja, garba, dandiya will be arranged for on the sets. I don’t feel like I am away from my family thanks to my extended family of Saathiya.”

The show has an exclusive celebration during Navratri and we all are excited about the same! I am sure our viewers will love to see the festive spirit on our show, we may have something planned to make this a grand celebration.”
