Nawanshahr does it again, secures first position with lowest pendency for second time in a row

Nawanshahr, December 18, 2021: For second time in a row, the SBS Nagar has retained first position in the Punjab with lowest pendency in delivery of citizen centric services to the people.
As per fresh report of the Punjab Government, The district has 0.09 percent pendency of applications in Sewa Kendras from December 18, 2020 to December 17, 2021.
The district led by Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal had also secured first rank in the last month with 0.04 percent pendency during the last month.
Disclosing further details, Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal informed that the district had received 137704 applications in Sewa Kendras from December 18, 2020 to December 17, 2021 and 120 applications were pending beyond the stipulated timeline set by the state government at presently. He said that 711 applications were rejected and 152 were sent back on the account of inappropriate information or documents. He said that 2928 applications were in the process and remaining applicantions were disposed of on time.
He said that the zero pendency approach of the administration was giving significant results and it would leave no stone unturned to facilitate the people by addressing their applications within set timeframe.
Deputy Commissioner lauded the hard work and commitment shown by the officials and employees towards delivering the services to the people promptly.
He said that clear directions have been given to the officials/employees to strictly adhere to the timely deliver the services to the people. He said that the Punjab Government is committed to giving topmost priority to provide services to the citizens without any kind of problem to them.
Mr Sarangal exhorted the officials/employees to continue to exhibit such zeal and passion towards citizen services.
