NCC and NSS unit of RGC organise Webinar on International Yoga Day
Ludhiana: Under the patronage of Offg. Principal Dr. Rajeshwarpal Kaur NCC 3Pb(Girls)) unit and NSS unit of Ramgarhia Girls College organized webinar on the theme 'Yoga For Better Living' to celebrate International Yoga Day. The students of Fine Arts Department also made posters on the same topic.Lt.Dr. Deepika, Assistant Professor, Rajasthan University, Jaipur was the resource person. She expressed her views saying that Yoga improves health and helps to build immunity to fight against diseases. Practicing yoga regularly should be made a part of one's life. It benefits people of all ages and regular yoga practice improves focus, coordination, memory, and even IQ scores. It even immunes body to fight against viruses like COVID-19. Officiating Principal Dr.Rajeshwarpal Kaur thanked Dr. Deepika for imparting knowledge on this pertinent topic. Yoga should be made a part of everyone's lifestyle because in the present scenario keeping good health is the most important thing. The more one practices yoga the more benefits one gains as it keeps one involved in self care. Dr. Deepika answered to queries of the participants. Lt. Dr. Seema Sharma also urged the participants to adopt a healthy lifestyle. Prof. Neeru Khurana and Prof. Aarti Kapur encouraged students to follow up some of the yoga aasanas to have them as a part of their daily routine.
