NCC cadets of Lyallpur Khalsa College participated in state level independence parade

Jalandhar, August 17, 2024: Dr. Jaspal Singh, Principal, Lyallpur Khalsa College said in a press release that 13 NCC cadets of the college participated in the state level function at Guru Gobind Singh Stadium on 78th Independence Day. He said that it is a matter of pride for the NCC wing of the college that Under Officer Prince has led the parade troop of the colleges of Jalandhar district in the state level parade event. Apart from Prince, Anil Kumar, Sunil Kumar, Rishik Mohapatra, Jashanjot Singh, Vikram Rana, Lucky, Akash Yadav, Ashish Kumar, Ansh, Raman Yadav, Rahul Kumar and Aman Kumar are part of this parade. Rehearsals for this event had started 10 days before. The drill training of these cadets was conducted by the Subedar Charanjit Singh and Havaldar Gurcharan Singh of 2 Punjab NCC Battalion. After training, the best performing cadets were selected. He further informed that the NCC activities in the college are conducted as per the guidelines of 2 Punjab NCC Battalion, Jalandhar. He wished the cadets good luck and hoped for a better future and said that the college would strive to provide all kind of facilities according to their needs. Lt. Dr. Karanbir Singh, in-charge of NCC of the college was also present on this occasion.
