NCC Group Commander inspects camp and shares mantras for a successful life with cadets
Jalandhar, November 22, 2024: Brigadier Ajay Tewari, Sena Medal, Group Commander NCC Jalandhar, visited the ongoing 10-day NCC camp at DAV Institute of Engineering and Technology College today. The camp was organized under the aegis of the 2 Punjab NCC Battalion. Upon his arrival for the camp inspection, Brigadier Ajay Tewari was saluted by cadets at the Quarter Guard. Following this, he interacted with Associate NCC Officers and Junior Commissioned Officers of the Army. The cadets briefed him in detail about the camp layout, training activities, and administrative preparations.
Brigadier Tewari was warmly welcomed in the auditorium of DAVIET College by girl cadets with bouquets of flowers. During his address, he inspired the cadets, highlighting that the NCC is the world's largest uniformed organization that instills the core principles of unity and discipline in their lives. He emphasized the importance of time management, prioritization, and having a mission in life. Brigadier Tewari encouraged the cadets by explaining that through discipline and persistent efforts, they could achieve their goals.
After a 30-minute motivational speech, group photographs were taken with the cadets and trainers. The program concluded with everyone singing the NCC song and raising slogans of "Bharat Mata Ki Jai."
Later, Brigadier Tewari had an in-depth discussion with the camp commandant regarding the next two camps planned for NCC cadets in collaboration with the Indian Army. He also had a meal with the girl cadets and gathered feedback about the training, food quality, and other facilities being provided at the camp.
Brigadier Ajay Tewari appreciated all members of the 2 Punjab NCC Battalion and commended them for providing excellent training, food, and living facilities to the cadets.
