Mumbai: Popular TV actress Neelu Vaghela is gearing up to captivate audiences with her powerful performance in Shemaroo Umang’s upcoming show, "Main Dil Tum Dhadkan." This highly anticipated series promises to deliver a gripping family drama and highlights the unique bond of a mother with her child through the depiction of today’s Yashodha.

In the show, Neelu Vaghela will take on the role of Rajeshwari Devi, the strong-willed matriarch of the Aggarwal family. Rajeshwari Devi is deeply rooted in traditional values and has a strict, patriarchal view of family roles. She believes that women should stay at home and support their families, while men should lead and make decisions. Her outdated beliefs, especially regarding widows, divorcees, and women who can't have children, highlight ongoing social challenges.

On her role, Neelu Vaghela shared, "Playing Rajeshwari Devi will be a profound experience for me. Her regressive views are a result of her upbringing and have shaped her outlook. This role sheds light on the harsh realities of traditional gender norms and the struggles women face. It’s a powerful story that beautifully highlights the emotions of motherhood and the challenges along the way, and I’m thrilled to work with Shashi and Sumeet, who always bring out the best in their characters."

The latest promo for "Main Dil Tum Dhadkan" reveals an intriguing plot where Vrinda (played by Radhika Muthukumar), who represents today’s Yashodha, finds herself fighting for the custody of her son. She has been raising him for seven years, believing he is her biological child, but when it’s revealed that he is actually Keshav’s (played by Zoheb Ashraf) real son and not hers, she faces a significant legal and emotional battle.
