Neeraj in Singles and Akash & Sunil in Doubles Win Crowns at AITA Rs.1 Lac Men’s Tennis Tournament at Jassowal

Top seed Neeraj Yashpaul of Chandigarh, lifted the Men’s Singles crown at the HTA–AITA Rs.1 Lac Men’s Tennis Tournament at Harvest Tennis Academy.  Neeraj Yashpaul beat second seed Ajay Kundu of Haryana 6-4, 6-2.  In doubles Akash Katewa of Rajasthan & Sunil Malik of Haryana defeated Dalwinder Singh & Sahajpreet S. Bajwa of Punjab 7-5, 6-4.

Jassowal, Ludhiana, April 21, 2023:     Top seed Neeraj Yashpaul of Chandigarh, lifted the Men’s Singles crown at the HTA–AITA Rs.1 Lac Men’s Tennis Tournament at Harvest Tennis Academy.  Neeraj Yashpaul beat second seed Ajay Kundu of Haryana 6-4, 6-2.  In doubles Akash Katewa of Rajasthan & Sunil Malik of Haryana defeated Dalwinder Singh & Sahajpreet S. Bajwa of Punjab 7-5, 6-4.

 

Present on the occasion of the Prize Distribution ceremony were Gurdeep Singh (Ex-DIGP) who is also Vice President Harvest Campus, Jay Sharma, Principal, Puja Chandpuri, Vice Principal, Harvest International School, Darran Ferre Tournament Director & Tennis Director, HTA, Gaurav Bhardwaj Manager Tennis, HTA and Jajbir Singh, Tournament Referee.

 

Gurdeep Singh, Vice President of Harvest Campus, explained that the Campus comprises the Tennis Academy and Ludhiana’s first and only Cambridge affiliated school, is 30 minutes’ drive from Ludhiana, located in the pristine ambience of village Jassowal-Kular. The Campus offers world class facilities in both academics and tennis training with several expatriate coaches and teachers specially brought in to assist this unique and a must visit facility.

 

All the participants, their accompanying parents and coaches appreciated the efforts done by the Harvest Tennis Academy for the smooth conduct of the tournament and hospitality rendered to them by the Academy.
