Nehru Sidhant Kender Trust commemorates 28th death anniversary of its founder president Sat Paul Mittal
New scheme is being worked out to support educational needs
Ludhiana: Nehru Sidhant Kender Trust today commemorated the 28th Death Anniversary of its founder President Late Shri Sat Paul Mittal MP. On this occasion, Shri Rakesh Bharti Mittal, President of the Trust, Shri Sunil Gupta, Vice-President, Shri Bipin Gupta, General Secretary, Shri G. L. Bassi, Treasurer, Shri Parveen Sayal, Sh. Deepak Panday, Shri Sanjay Jain, Trustees of the Trust, members of various Committees & Shri N C Jain, Advisor of the Trust and other eminent personalities of Ludhiana including Sh Prem Mittal, Chairman, Planning Board, Distt Mansa, Sh. Surinder Dawar, MLA, Shri Shyam Sunder Malhotra, Sr. Dy. Mayor, Ludhiana were present.
While remembering Late Shri Sat Paul Mittal, Shri Rakesh Bharti Mittal touched upon the various facets of the life of Late Shri Mittal who worked all through his life tirelessly for the poor and the downtrodden. Late Sh. Sat Paul Mittal had set up an Institution by the name of Indian Association of Parliamentarians on Population and Development at New Delhi. He also highlighted the unmatched contributions made by Late Shri Sat Paul Mittal towards the progress of the nation.
Shri Rakesh Bharti Mittal thanked each & everyone for the love and affection bestowed on their family. He pointed out that his family was doing everything possible to follow the path shown by Late Shri Sat Paul Mittal, He told that Bharti Foundation has set up Satya Bharti Schools in villages and more than 2,70,000 students are benefitted. The Satya Bharti Schools are opened in villages only for the poor and deprived section of the society. He also told that Nehru Sidhant Kender Trust is distributing scholarships to the needy students of various schools, women colleges in Ludhiana and wards of Physical Causalities (Fatal) Defense Personal from class I to class XII every year.
He further disclosed that to widen the scope of scholarships, a new scheme is being worked out to support the educational needs of Post Graduate students as well as students pursuing special courses.
