New Academic session-Setting sails into Fresh Horizon

Phillaur, April 6, 2024: The commencement of a new academic session is always a momentous occasion, symbolizing new beginnings, aspirations, and opportunities.DRV DAV Centenary Public School, Phillaur, proudly inaugurated the new academic session 2024-25 with a series of heartfelt and auspicious ceremonies to welcome the students.

The inauguration began with a warm welcome for the students as they entered the premises. As they walked through the gates, they were greeted with showers of fragrant flower petals, signifying the start of their educational journey filled with beauty and grace

The students then gathered in the assembly area, where they were greeted by worthy Principal and faculty members. The assembly commenced with motivational poems and speeches, inspiring the students to embark on their academic endeavors with enthusiasm, dedication, and determination.

Hawan ceremony was organized to seek the blessings of the divine for a successful and prosperous academic year ahead. The soothing chants, the fragrant incense, and the flickering flames created an atmosphere of serenity and spirituality, setting the tone for the year ahead.

Tilak ceremony was conducted in each classroom by the teachers to invoke positive energy and good fortune for the students in their studies and endeavors .To add sweetness to the occasion, sweets were distributed among the students, symbolizing the joy and celebration of the new academic session.

One of the highlights of the inauguration was the "Little Hands Marking Ceremony," where Mini Mavericks joyfully put their handprints on chart paper, signifying their first mark at school. This symbolic gesture encapsulated the belief that even the smallest hands are capable of reaching great heights with the ladder of education.

In recognition of the vital role that parents play in a child's educational journey, an orientation session was organized specifically for nursery parents.
Motivational videos were curated and screened for the students to instill a sense of purpose and motivation, igniting a fire within them to excel in their academic and personal endeavors.

Principal ,Dr Yogesh Gambhir extended a warm welcome to the students into the new chapter of academic journey and motivated them that their potential is limitless, and with determination, resilience, and dedication, they can achieve anything .
