IIMC unveils logo of its annual fest ‘Media Mahakumbh’
New Delhi, April 19, 2022: The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) launched the logo of its annual media fest ‘Media Mahakumbh’ on Tuesday. The logo was unveiled by Prof. Rajnish Kumar Shukla, Vice Chancellor, Mahatma Gandhi International Hindi University, Wardha and Prof. Sanjay Dwivedi, Director General, IIMC. Dean Students Welfare, IIMC Prof. (Dr.) Pramod Kumar, Course Director of Advertising and Public Relations Prof. Anubhuti Yadav, Associate Professors in IIMC Dr. Rachna Sharma and Dr. Meeta Ujjain was also present on the occasion.
‘Celebrating Innovation, Empowering India’ is the theme of the IIMC’s national level media festival. The annual fest would be organised on May 26th and 27th, 2022 at IIMC Campus, New Delhi.
Releasing the logo, Prof. Rajnish Kumar Shukla said that the theme of the fest is highly relevant particularly on the occasion of ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’. Focused on the theme of empowering India through innovations would give a new direction to the Indian media.
Director General of IIMC Prof. Dwivedi said the students of IIMC have been organising this festival for many years. This year’s theme of the festival would instill the spirit of self-reliance among the countrymen. Different activities have been planned as part of the festival.
