New Committee of IE(I) Ludhiana Local centre takes charge

Ludhiana, November 28, 2023: The Institution of Engineers (India), Ludhiana Local Centre held its 38th Annual General Meeting in the institute premises, Dugri Road, Ludhiana.
The ceremony started with the traditional lighting of lamp by the dignitaries. Dr. Manjeet Singh, Dean College of Agricultural Engineering & Technology, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana was the chief guest for the occasion.
Brig. Mastinder Singh, SM- FIE called the meeting to order. Dr. Jatinder Kapoor, outgoing Honorary Secretary, Ludhiana Local Centre read out the minutes of previous meeting. He also read out the annual report highlighting the various events conducted by the outgoing team.
Thereafter, the presiding officer, Brig. Mastinder Singh introduced the incoming chairman Dr.Arvind Dhingra who is Executive Director, Science and Technology Entrepreneurs Park, Guru Nanak Dev engineering College, Ludhiana and Honorary Secretary, Er. Surinder Singh who is Executive Engineer with Municipal Corporation, Ludhiana.
Dr. T.S. Kamal spoke at length about the future plans of the institution at head quarter level.
Dr. Arvind Dhingra, Chairman elect proposed the formal vote of thanks. Engineers from GNDEC, MC, Ludhiana, PSPCL, PWD, PAU attended this function.
