New Face Neha Chauhan to Shine in Zee Punjabi’s Latest Show "Jawai Ji", Premiering on Oct 28

Zee Punjabi has always been a platform that nurtures and promotes fresh talent, allowing young artists to showcase their potential. In line with this tradition, the channel’s upcoming show "Jawai Ji" will feature a brand-new face, Neha Chauhan, in the lead role of Sidak.

Neha Chauhan, a graduate of Punjabi University, Patiala, is pursuing her M.A. She discovered her passion for acting during her college years, where she began her journey in theatre. She went on to appear in the series "High School Love," but her breakthrough came when Zee Punjabi cast her in a leading role for "Jawai Ji."  Neha plays Sidak, a vulnerable character who yearns for her mother's love and appreciation, yet finds herself emotionally distant as her mother becomes consumed with her business and pursuing financial success.

Reflecting on her journey, Neha shares, “Zee Punjabi has given me the most significant platform of my career. 'Jawai Ji' is a dream come true. I’ve always aspired to play a meaningful role that connects with viewers, and through Sidak’s character, I believe I’ve found that opportunity. I am grateful to Zee Punjabi for trusting me with this role, and I look forward to sharing this story with the audience.”
