New reading hall inaugurated at Girls Hostel No.-9, Panjab University
A new reading hall was inaugurated at Girls Hostel No.-9, Panjab University, Chandigarh by the Vice Chancellor Professor Renu Vig in the presence of DSWs Professor Jatinder Grover and Professor Simrit Kahlon and Warden Dr. Nishima Wangoo.

Chandigarh, December 12, 2023: A new reading hall was inaugurated at Girls Hostel No.-9, Panjab University, Chandigarh by the Vice Chancellor Professor Renu Vig in the presence of DSWs Professor Jatinder Grover and Professor Simrit Kahlon and Warden Dr. Nishima Wangoo.
This reading hall will cater to the needs of the girl residents of the South Campus who face difficulty in going to main library in North Campus especially during night hours since the reading hall is open 24x7. The Warden Dr. Nishima expressed her gratitude to the Vice-Chancellor, Deans, Wardens, members of student council for taking part in the inauguration. The students acknowledged the authorities for this facility especially since exam time has started for various streams in the University.
