New Rotary year begins with blood donation camp

At the start of the new Rotary Year world over, Rotary Club of Chandigarh began its year by organising a blood donation camp.

Chandigarh, July 1, 2023: At the start of the new Rotary Year world over, Rotary Club of Chandigarh began its year by organising a blood donation camp. 


35 units of blood were collected at the camp held at Rotary and Blood Bank Society Resource Centre, in Sector 37 today. 


Rtn. Anil Chadda, a chartered accountant, who has taken over as the Club President for 2023-24 today, expressed his gratitude to Rotarians and Vishal Puri, chairman of the ICAI Chandigarh Chapter for participating in this noble cause.


He said that blood is the only medicine that a human can give to another human being to save lives. 
 

The theme of the new Rotary year, Rtn Chadda said is "Create Hope in the World", and every act of kindness and selfless service brings hope to the people in need.
