New Voter Registration Camp initiated on Constitution Day at Lyallpur Khalsa College
Jalandhar, November 29, 2021: NSS unit of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar celebrated Constitution day in a unique way by organizing two day New Voter Registration Camp in the college campus. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra emphasised that young force of the nation must abide by and keep firm faith in the constitution to keep the integrity, peace and sovereignty of the country intact. He added that Indian constitution is the guiding force of common masses. Chief Program officer Satpal Singh informed that college NSS unit in collaboration with District SVEEP representatives, BLOs and Observer organized two day new voter registration camp in the college campus to promote the constitutional right of voting. He further said that in the camp not only 200 new voters were registered but also a message was delivered to all students above 18 years of age in the campus to caste their votes without any fear. This will be a real tribute to the spirit of constitution. During the camp, Dr. Surinder Pal Mand, Dean Student Welfare, NSS volunteers Disha Vij, Maninderjit Singh, Karandeep Singh, Mahima Jain and others actively guided the candidates in the registration process.
