~ Apple and Maruti Suzuki top the nomination chart across categories~ With the much awaited News18.com’s ‘Tech and Auto Awards 2018’ being just a few days away, the diverse categories are witnessing participation from the audiences who have been continuously voting for their favourite gadgets and automobile across categories. Among the brands which are competing for the title, gadgets made by Apple and Automobile by Maruti Suzuki witnessed them receive the most number of nominations.. Slated to take place in New Delhi on December 17, 2018, the evening will witness the celebration and felicitation of these innovators, path-breakers and high-achievers in their respective industries. Through its annual awards, News18.com intends to bring the best of the ‘technology’ and ‘automobile’ industry under one roof. With brands like Apple, Samsung, OnePlus 6T, Nikon, Microsoft in Tech category and Ducati, Audi, Volvo, Maruti Suzuki, Tata, Hyundai, Ford in Auto category competing against each other, Apple and Maruti Suzuki from both the award categories lead the nominations race with five and three nominations respectively. In the category ‘Luxury Car of the Year’, Volvo XC 60 has received the highest votes compared to the BMW 6 Series GT, Mercedes-Benz S-Class, Porsche Cayenne and Audi Q5. Whereas RealMe2 pro is far ahead in the ‘Budget phone of the Year’ category against Xiaomi Red Me Note 5 Pro, Nokia 6.1 Plus, Honor 8X and Moto G6.
