Newsletter and Social media page launched

Chandigarh, June 26, 2024: The second edition of the Centre for Social Work's newsletter " Samajik Karya- Sankalan" has been launched today by Vice Chancellor, Prof. Renu Vig as the chief guest. Prof Rumina Seth, DUI and Prof Harsh Nayyar, Director, Research & Development Cell, Panjab University were the guests of honour in the launch ceremony.

The Vice Chancellor has congratulated the faculty members and whole team behind the newsletter. She specifically appreciated the efforts made by the department in securing good placements for the outgoing batch of MSW students (2022-24).

Prof Rumina Sethi, DUI said that the newsletter not only is a  reflection of the department's activities but also celebrates  the achievements of its alumni and students. Such documents play a very crucial evaluation highlighting the achievements of the department. 

Prof. Harsh Nayyar said that newsletter reflected the efforts of the faculty members and students and the other departments should also follow the same pursuit of documentation of their activities.

In the ceremony, the official instagram page of the Centre for Social Work was also launched for showcasing the CSW's activities and initiatives.

The ceremony was attended by Dr Gaurav Gaur, Dr Monica M. Singh along with all the research scholars from the department.
