Ferozepur, November 22, 2012: There was a celebration of a diamond jubilee, on completion of more than 100 medical check-up and awareness camps by Streamline Welfare Society, Ferozepur, organised at Old Age Home (Bagbhan), Ferozepur which was presided over by Gurmail Singh, ADC, Ferozepur and Gurjit Singh Pannu, SDM, Ferozepur.
Diwan Chand Sukhija, president of the association said, the society is committed to help the poor by organising medical, sugar, dental and general check-up camps besides organising awareness seminars to educate the students to fight against the social evils, in schools, colleges and remote areas.
Speaking on the occasion, Gurmail Singh, ADC and Gurjit Singh Pannu, SDM appreciated the services of the society to help the needy class and advised to continue to organise free service camps as a regular feature.
On this occasion, Dr. G. S. Dhillon, Dr.Satinder Singh, K. K. Dhawan, retired DEO, Ashok Behal, secretary Red Cross and the representatives of various NGOs, senior citizens and members were present.
