Ludhiana, February 11, 2025: NIDHI-TBI(DST, GoI) wrapped up an inspiring boot camp with support of Skill Development centre and in collaboration with PAU Kisan Club at Annual Kisan club function on February 6, 2025, at Kairon Kisan Ghar, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU). The Research Project team interacted with PAU Kisan Club members at Boot camp organised during PAU Kisan Club annual function.The event brought together several incubatees who showcased their innovative, value-added products derived from fruits, vegetables, cereals, and pulses.
From floral luxurious fragrances to packaged juices, pickles,vegetable powders,juices etc.
Boot camp featured a diverse range of extraordinary products. All the potential incubates exhibited their food products, business ideas and startup ideas with the visitors. All Kisan Club members who were present there, interacted with potential incubates and exhanged ideas as with a mission of marketing, idea sharing and networking strategies. This initiative played a crucial role in enhancing awareness, fostering networking opportunities, and refining product display and selling strategies for participants.
Dr. S. S. Gosal, Worthy Vice Chancellor, PAU and Dr. J.P.S. Gill, Worthy Vice Chancellor, GADVASU, along with officials, visited the stalls organised by Potential incubates of NIDHI-TBI(DST, GoI) and motivated all the participants at Boot camp.
Under the esteemed mentorship of Dr. Ramandeep Singh, Principal Investigator, NIDHI-TBI (DST,GoI) & Director, School of Business Studies (SBS), PAU, and Dr. Poonam A. Sachdev, Co-Principal Investigator, NIDHI-TBI(DST, GoI) & Principal Food Technologist, Food Science and Technology (FST), PAU, the boot camp proved to be a significant milestone in encouraging agri-based entrepreneurship. Their expert guidance played a pivotal role in equipping the participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to thrive in competitive markets.
Dr. Ramandeep singh addressed the gathering and gave valuable insights regarding product development, market expansion, and business scalability. He emphasised that bridging the gap between research, innovation, and commercial viability, agrarian community can mark a significant step in promoting entrepreneurship within the agri business sector. This enthusiastic participation significantly enhanced the exposure of incubatees, creating substantial networking opportunities and expanding their customer base.
