Night curfew in Kangra district from tomorrow till 15 December

Dharamshala: As the fresh Covid-19 cases are increasing in faster passes in many areas of Himachal, the state cabinet has decided to put night curfew in four districts , which include Shimla ,Mandi, Kullu and  Kangra districts.

In the headquarters of Kangra at Dharamshala the office of Superintendent of Police, which opened today after 3 days due to sudden detections of many cases of Covid in the staff, was again closed for another 48 hours. SSP Vimukt Ranjan has issued orders to close the office for the next 48 hours after 6 more cases of Kovid-19 were found in the Superintendent of Police Office in Dharamshala. He said that according to SOP, the work of sanitization of the office will be done and only after that the office will be opened on 26 November 2020.

Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Prajapati said that the common public's cooperation is necessary to prevent the spread of Kovid-19 and all people should ensure compliance with social distance, as well as mandatory use of masks on getting out of the house.
Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Prajapati urged people to come to the DC office premises at the district headquarters Dharamshala only when their presence is unavoidable. He said , “ people can also inform us  about any problems, complaints or other works through telephone, email. For this, directions have also been given to the employees of various branches of the DC office so that there is not much congestion in the Deputy Commissioner's office premises and social distance compliance can also be ensured.”

Prajapati said that the crisis of infection of Kovid-19 is not yet reduced, its medicine or vaccine has not been made due to which people need to ensure compliance of the protocol of rescue of Kovid-19.

Deputy Commissioner Kangra  said that as per the guidelines of the government, an awareness campaign was also conducted effectively in Kangra district to spread the message of slackness to the general public, in which people were educated about the need to use masks properly.People have been made aware to ensure hand hygiene, compliance of two yards social distance and to get  tested  at the nearest flu center if symptoms occur, quarantine and isolation rules.

Rakesh Prajapati said that in Kangra district, people who report positive in  Kovid test , will also be provided with isolation kits in which all information including oximeters, essential medicines, etc. are being provided to protect them from Covid. He said that a control room has also been set up at the district headquarters regarding Kovid-19 with toll-free number 1077.

He said that necessary information about rescue from Kovid-19 at various places in Kangra district is also being brought to the general public through posters  and hoardings. a testing facility has also been expanded in Kangra district and 20 sample collection centers have been set up in the district with around 1200 tests being conducted daily.
