Over 40 male and female models would walk the ramp in annual collection fashion show “Anukama-2015” being organised by the Northern India Institute of Fashion Technology (NIIFT) at Tagore Theatre, Chandigarh on 2nd June.
Chandigarh, June 1, 2015: The Northern India Institute of Fashion Technology (NIIFT) would hold its annual collection fashion show “Anukama-2015” on 2nd June at Tagore Theatre.
Disclosing this here today, an official spokesperson said that during this fashion extravaganza the students of NIIFT would showcase their collection of designs created by them in accordance with the emerging trends in the 21st century fashion industry.
Divulging more details, the spokesperson said that over 40 male and female models would walk the ramp on this occasion and the fashion show would be choreographed by Kaushik Ghosh.
Elaborating more, the spokesperson said that Mr. Madan Mohan Mittal, Industries and Commerce, Technical Education and Industrial Training Minister, Punjab would be the Chief Guest on the occasion while Mr. Anirudh Tiwari, Principal Secretary, Department of Industries and Commerce and Chairman, NIIFT and Mr. S.R. Ladhar Director and Secretary, Industries and Commerce, Punjab and Director General NIIFT would preside over the function. His Excellency Ambassador of Morocco, Mr. Larbi Reffouh would be Guest of Honour. He would be accompanied by his wife Mrs. Sabah Kalai Reffouh.
On this occasion, Mr. K.S. Brar Director NIIFT, Inderjit Singh Registrar NIIFT, Dr. Simrita Singh Co-ordinator Fashion Show and Dr. Poonam Aggarwal academic head were also present.
