NISA demands formation of Haryana State School Standard Authority

Welcomes the Haryana CM’s decision on Eighth Board

NISA demands formation of Haryana State School Standard Authority
National President of NISA, Dr. Kulbhushan Sharma.

Chandigarh, February 21, 2022: National President of NISA, Dr. Kulbhushan Sharma, while welcoming the decision of Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar regarding the Eighth Board, has demanded that according to the new education policy prepared by the Government of India, first of all a State School Standard Authority should be  constituted in the state.

It is noteworthy that the above decision of the Chief Minister has come after the recently held press conference by NISA on this issue, in which Mr Sharma had said that Haryana Education Board was under pressure to take the eighth annual examination in private schools affiliated to other boards of the state, which was absolutely wrong.

Sharma said that schools belonging to all the boards of Haryana should be given representation in the proposed State School Standard Authority as per their strength, so that a proper education and examination policy could be formulated for the state.

The NISA President further said that with this, the quality of education of the children of the state would get improved. He demanded that the fees taken from private schools in the name of board examination should also be returned without delay.
