Ludhiana, April 15, 2025: Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora held booth-level meetings across several areas in Ludhiana (West) assembly constituency on Monday late evening, including Singhpura, Chhoti Haibowal (Z-Block), and Mahavir Jain Colony.
Addressing well-attended gatherings of local residents, Arora invited people to speak openly about their grievances, emphasising that he was present not just to listen but to ensure swift resolution of issues. Highlighting various development works undertaken during his three-year tenure as an MP, he also encouraged citizens to share new demands so he could take appropriate action.
Arora clearly stated that he doesn’t believe in making post-election promises. Instead, he committed to addressing problems immediately. In several instances, he was seen calling or messaging relevant government officials on the spot, urging them to resolve issues without delay.
He expressed a vision to transform Ludhiana into a model city—so attractive and well-managed that visitors would aspire for their hometowns to be similar. He added that getting public work done is not “rocket science,” but merely requires commitment and sincerity.
At Chhoti Haibowal (Z-Block), Arora announced the installation of slides for children and a canopy in the local park. He also promised to address a sewerage issue within a day or so. In Mahavir Jain Colony, he assured that a faulty power transformer would be replaced soon, while another had already been replaced. Such prompt responses and proactive announcements have strengthened the belief among locals that his words are not just promises, but guarantees.
Notable attendees included Mangal Singh Bhatia, Vijay Danav, Aaradhana and Manpreet (Mani Sai), Navdeep Navi, Rimpy Grewal, Kamaljit Kaur, Sanjiv Kumar Bittu, Ajay Sharma, and Madan Lal.
