Ferozepur, July 17, 2013: During the last few days, the rumours of abduction or recovery of dead bodies of children from ponds, have no truth as not even a single such incident has come to the notice of district administration and police is keeping a proper vigil and patrolling, said Manjeet Singh Narang, Deputy Commissioner, Ferozepur and Varinder Pal Singh, SSP, Ferozepur.
Deputy Commissioner said, in case any such unscrupulous elements is noticed, the district administration and police department should immediately be informed.
SSP said, the police are already in search of such anti-social elements and they would be shortly in the net of the police.
He further appealed to the people to not to believe in such rumours and remain in contact with the district administration and police department to verify the factual position. The police are keeping 24x7 hours vigil over to maintain law and order and peace, through patrolling in whole of the district.
