The event began with a ceremonial tribute to Goddess Saraswati, followed by the lighting of the lamp by the Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Uma Bhardwaj. In her address, Dr. Bhardwaj emphasized the importance of staying connected with industry trends and staying updated in today's competitive world to ensure a successful career. Dr. Mukesh Parashar, Registrar, and Dr. Subhash Kumar Verma, Dean of the School of Business Management, introduced the department to the students, outlining the opportunities for practical knowledge, industrial visits, and the development of multifaceted skills alongside classroom learning.
The program featured esteemed guest speakers from top companies who shared their insights with the students. Sachin Sharma, Associate Director at KPMG India, spoke about the efforts and strategies needed for achieving success in the corporate world. Priti Goel, Founder and CEO of Prisha Wealth Management India, CA Vatsalya Chaturvedi, Vice President of Risk and Control at Barclays Bank, and Anurag Mohan, Learning Portfolio Manager at Nokia, also shared their experiences and knowledge, inspiring students to pursue their dreams and consider entrepreneurship.
On the second day of the event, Ankita Sachdev, Joint Director at BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Shashank Saxena, Research Lead at 13D Research & Strategy, engaged students in insightful discussions. They introduced students to various strategic plans and shared their expertise on how to navigate the dynamic world of business management.
