Punjab’s neighboring state Himachal Pradesh will be going for assembly polls in next year in the early months, earlier it was a point of discussion among the voters that the results of the Punjab Assembly elections always reflect on the forecast of results of Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections. As this time Aam Aadmi Party has won by more than two third seats in Punjab Assembly, the question arises that earlier it was vice versa in Himachal it was alternative game of power once the Congress next time BJP but this time the scenario seems to be little bit difficult to predict. The shift of votes to Aam Aadmi Party from other political parties will certainly affect the prospects of the candidates of BJP and Congress. In Himachal Pradesh BJP senior leader and former union minister Shanta Kumar who has voluntarily retired from active politics writes articles on various sensitive issues. Similarly, former chief minister Prem Kumar Dhumal last time lost the assembly election and at present his son Anurag Singh Thakur is a successful Union Cabinet Minister represents Himachal Pradesh whereas the nation president BJP and former union minister Jagat Parkash Nadda represents Himachal Pradesh. Winning the Himachal Pradesh Assembly Elections for the second consecutive time is the ultimate vision of the BJP Central and State leadership. The question arises that in Upper Himachal the Apple Lobby will effect which parties’ vote bank which cannot be predicted at present. Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur is hopeful of bringing back BJP to power. Now, once again the voters will decide the fate of the party to whom they bring to power.

BJP on toes in Punjab
The central leadership in Punjab is now taking on the spot decisions in regard to the organisational matters seriously as the party has deputed number of senior BJP leaders, union ministers to find out the strategy of winnability in the municipal corporations, municipal committees elections and in the parliament elections to be held in 2024. The party high command has announced new winnability General Secretary (Organisation) Manthri Srinivasulu for Punjab, earlier, he was in Telangana. The new name has been cleared after the transfer of Dinesh Kumar Sharma to Uttar Pradesh. After his departure the charge was assumed by my Pavan Rana as the dual charge of Punjab along with Himachal Pradesh as BJP General Secretary (Organisation). Now, with the new appointment of General Secretary Organization he will certainly tour and visit various districts in Punjab and will come out with a positive vision and effective new strategy to strengthen the organisation structure at grass root level and neutralise the groupism, if any within the party. The past BJP in Punjab even though succeeded in increasing its membership through mobile clicks but even then the result were not as expected in the Punjab Assembly Elections 2022.  Ashwani Sharma M.L.A. is serving for the second time as B.J.P. State President, former state president BJP and former M.P. Rajya Sabha Shawet Malik also remained President of BJP Punjab. Both were from Majha belt and in between former state president and former union minister Vijay Sampla was from Doaba. Now, Senior Congress Leaders who have joined BJP are also waiting for new assignment in BJP in the Pre- Punjab Assembly Elections 2022. Similarly, Former Minister Punjab and Former State President Madan Mohan Mittal resigned from BJP due to technical reasons, former state president BJP and Former Minister Punjab Manoranjan Kalia during his tenure as Minister took various decisions to accommodate BJP leaders with new assignments. Collective sincere efforts towards strengthening organisational structure is the need of time in Punjab.
