NRI and International Students Facilitation Centre inaugurated at DCM YES
In an initiative for the benefit of NRI & International Students who wish to come back to their roots and acquire global education with Indian ethos, DCM Young Entrepreneurs School has launched "NISFAC" -NRI & International Students Facilitation Centre.
Ludhiana: In an initiative for the benefit of NRI & International Students who wish to come back to their roots and acquire global education with Indian ethos, DCM Young Entrepreneurs School has launched "NISFAC" -NRI & International Students Facilitation Centre which was formally inaugurated here recently by Assistant Commissioner Ludhiana and SDM Raikot Gurbir Singh Kohli besides Senior Industrialists including Gurmeet Singh Kular, Shobhan Soi, Satnam Singh, Dr. Naresh Sachdeva , prominent NRIs , members of SMC were also present on the occasion.
The ceremony was presided over by Dr. Anirudh Gupta CEO of DCM Group of Schools.
School Dean Meenakshi Sharma said that the people who are settled abroad and want to send their children to India, will be inducted seamlessly into the Indian culture and the Education system so that the entire transition is hassleless.
Appreciating this initiative taken by DCM YES, Chief Guest Kohli said that it will be a golden opportunity for the NRI & International students to study in their own nation. Kohli lauded the school authorities for this initiative and said that it was the need of the hour.
Noted industrialist Kular said that institutions like DCM YES will help in the development of the country by creating world class entrepreneurs.
Dr Nitin Aggarwal Member SMC said that at DCM YES, the students were being encouraged in the fields of artificial intelligence, astronomy, IT, sports, music etc. On the occasion, Pawandeep Kaur Convener NISFAC gave an insight into Experiential Learning initiatives besides the facilities at International Languages Development Centre where French, Spanish, Italian and German are being taught.
Satnam Singh Chahal, Executive Director North American Punjabi Association said that the world class facilities provided at DCM YES were even better than American Institutions. He said that such arrangements like NISFAC will be extremely helpful for NRI community and international students who can avail of global facilities at YES, and at the same time remain connected to their roots and understand Indian Ethos.
