A week long Special NSS Camp on the theme "Youth for My Bharat, Digital Literacy & Save Environment" started at Panjab University (PU).

Chandigarh, March 19, 2025: A week long Special NSS Camp on the theme "Youth for My Bharat, Digital Literacy & Save Environment" started at Panjab University (PU).
Dr. Subhash Sharma, Prof. Sanjay Kaushik and Sh. Jai Bhagwan graced the inaugural function as the Chief Guest and Special dignitaries. Addressing the participants, they emphasised the importance of youth engagement in nation-building through digital literacy and environmental conservation. They encouraged students to be proactive in spreading awareness about sustainable practices and leveraging technology for social good.
As many as 135 students are participating in the special camp being organised by NSS under the guidance of Dr Parveen Goyal, Programme Coordinator, NSS, PU, Dr. Sonia Sharma, Dr. Manjushree, Dr. Neelam Goyal, Dr. Anu H Gupta, Dr. Anupam Bahri, Dr. Sarvanarinder, Programme Officers, PU and Prof. Shankar Sehgal.
Lectures on Happiness, UHV, Effective Communication Skills and Cyber Security were conducted.
Dr. Sonia Sharma spoke on Effective Communication Skills while Dr. Minakshi Rana delivered lecture on Cyber Security. Yoga session, Traffic Awareness drives by Constable Manjeet, Traffic Police, Chandigarh were organised today. A session was also organised on start ups and entrepreneurship by Prof. Manu Sharma and self defence by Traffic Police, Chandigarh.
