NSS Panjab University (PU) today organised cleanliness and tree plantation drive on the theme "swachh bharat swasth bharat" in the campus today.

Chandigarh, October 24, 2024: NSS Panjab University (PU) today organised cleanliness and tree plantation drive on the theme " swachh bharat swasth bharat” in the campus today.
PU Dean College Development Council Prof Sanjay Kaushik was the Chief Guest.
While addressing the NSS Volunteers, Prof. Kaushik said that cleanliness drive is not an ordinary job; rather such activities inculcate healthy habits, which are stepping stones to rise in life.
NSS Programme Coordinator Dr.Parveen Goyal explained about the importance of the colour coding of the Trash bins. He also added in talk the methods to segregate the wet waste and dry waste.
Apart from NSS Programme Officer Dr. Anupama, about 60 volunteers participated in the drive.
