NSS, Panjab University(PU) celebrated 64th NSS Foundation Day at the University.
Chief Patron of NSS and PU Vice Chancellor Prof. Renu Vig presided over the celebration. The Chief Guest of the event was Dr. Kuldeep Chand Agnihotri, Vice Chairman, Sanskriti Sahihtya Akademi. Govt. of Haryana.The event was organized under the guidance of Dr.Parveen Goyal, Programme Coordinator, NSS.

Chandigarh, September 24 2024: Chief Patron of NSS and PU Vice Chancellor Prof. Renu Vig presided over the celebration. The Chief Guest of the event was Dr. Kuldeep Chand Agnihotri, Vice Chairman, Sanskriti Sahihtya Akademi. Govt. of Haryana.The event was organized under the guidance of Dr.Parveen Goyal, Programme Coordinator, NSS.
The event began with the plantation drive in which the Prof. Vig, PU Registrar Prof. Y.P.Verma and various officers planted.
Best Programme Officers and Volunteers of Punjab and Chandigarh colleges were also felicitated with University Level Awards during the programme. There was a Cake Cutting ceremony and later the PU Vice Chancellor, guests, Programme officers and Volunteers also participated in a Rally with Slogans on Swachhta Hi Sewa, the theme of the event.
Competitions on Poster Making, Slogan Writing, Rangoli, Declamation, Songs, Dance and Natti were organised on the Swachhta Hi Sewa theme.
