Chandigarh, May 28, 2024: NSS, Panjab University celebrated Anti terrorism day at adopted village Dhanas Under Environment Education Programme and a voter awareness programme was also organised under the guidance of Dr.Parveen Goyal, Programme Coordinator NSS, Panjab University and Dr.Vivek Kapoor, PO Panjab University.
Stationery donation drive was carried for 65 young kids. The students were enlightened about the importance of education in one's life.
Parents of the kids were also made aware about the importance of casting vote.
Chief Guest Dr Jagat Bhushan, Controller of Examination, Panjab University, Chandigarh actively participated during the distribution of stationery and addressed the audience, he made them aware that "The Polling day is not a holiday, it's rather a day to fulfill our responsibility as a citizen of India".
