NSS Wing of Apeejay College of Fine Arts celebrates 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi

Jalandhar; The NSS Wing of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar celebrated 150th Birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi in order to advocate the ideologies of Truth, Peace and Non Violence propounded by him.
Paper Reading Competition and Slogan Writing Competitions were organised where nearly 40 students from the various departments of College participated. The students talked of the relevance of Gandhian Ideologies in the contemporary time.
Ms. Rashmi Randev, Department of Philosophy introduced to all the students about the significance of the ideologies advocated by Gandhi Ji and the role he played in making our nation independent.
Director Dr. Sucharita Sharma admired the students for participating in the competitions and put forth that it is important to remember our heroes and the disciplined lives they have lived. She added adopting Gandhian ideologies today in our life will make us more disciplined. She appreciated Ms. Simkee Dev, Ms. Rashmi Randev for successfully organising this event.
