NSS Wing of PCM SD College for Women, Jalandhar Visits M.R.F Unit Dakoha
NSS Wing of PCM SD College for Women, Jalandhar made a visit to M.R.F Unit, Dakoha in collaboration with Municipal Corporation, Jalandhar. The purpose was to familiarise students about the methods of waste management and reuse under the directions of Punjab Municipal Infrastructure Development Company (PMIDC) so that students could consciously play their part in keeping the surroundings clean. Around 33 students participated in the program.

Jalandhar, December 4, 2023: NSS Wing of PCM SD College for Women, Jalandhar made a visit to M.R.F Unit, Dakoha in collaboration with Municipal Corporation, Jalandhar. The purpose was to familiarise students about the methods of waste management and reuse under the directions of Punjab Municipal Infrastructure Development Company (PMIDC) so that students could consciously play their part in keeping the surroundings clean. Around 33 students participated in the program.
The students were informed about the different types of waste, the importance of waste segregation and the processes employed during material recovery facilities by Anusha, officer, Municipal Corporation, Jalandhar.
Balveer Singh (Councilor, Dakoha), Saroj Kapoor (CF, Municipal Corporation, Jalandhar) also witnessed the occasion.
President Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Vinod Dada, other members of the Managing Committee and Principal Prof. (Dr.) Pooja Prashar acknowledged the NSS Wing for conducting such ecologically-conscious activities.
