Nursing workshop at village Sarabha tomorrow 

Ludhiana, October 24, 2024: After the successful completion of two Workshops on Nursing in year 2023 and 2024, in which all the Principals of about 250 Nursing Institutions participated, we at PNRC under the department of Medical Education & Research, Punjab and in association with department of Health and Family Welfare, Punjab are marching forward with the conduct of faculty workshops in all the 23 districts of Punjab.

​​​More than 5000 faculty members in Nursing Institutions of Punjab would be participating in these workshops district wise. Training will be imparted to them on various aspects like Clinical Trainings in Govt. Hospitals, NRTS, TNAI, Online Evaluation of answer sheets, inspection in colleges, duties as Centre Superintendents, Invigilators & Practical examinations, Leadership and soft skills etc. through speakers of national repute.

​​​PNRC will be organized this workshop in Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha College of Nursing, village Sarabha (Ludhiana) tomorrow (25th October 2024) from 9 am-5 pm. The theme of this workshop was Quality Nursing : “Educating the Educators”. More than 800 faculty members of nursing schools and colleges of Ludhiana and Malerkotla .Besides this, the Civil Surgeons, DFPOs (District Family Planning Officers) and SMOs (Senior Medical Officers) of all the health institutions (SDHs, CHCs, PHCs) of Ludhiana and Malerkotla will be participating in this workshop.

The program will take place under the supervision of Dr. Puneet Girdhari Jt.Director,Medical education & Research and Registrar ,PNRC and Dr. Prabhjot Saini Principal of (Shaheed Kartar Singh College of Nursing),Chief Coordinator and Trustee members of Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha College of Nursing Sarabha Ludhiana.

Scientific Session will be taken up by various eminent speakers Dr.Latha Venkastesan ,Principal College of Nursing AIIMS ,New Delhi, Dr.Monika Sharma Associate Professor of AIIMS Bilaspur, Mrs.Dildeep Kaur ,Principal Govt.institute CH Ropar, Mr.rahul Sharma Cooperate leader ( IIT Kanpur), Mrs.Dildeep Kaur ,Principal Govt.institute CH Ropar and Dr.Bharat Pareek ,Principal ,Sarswati Coolege ,Gharuan ( Ropar ).Pancel discussion on Clinical Training in District Hospital & other Health institution of Punjab which is headed by the Dr. Sharanjit Kaur Deputy Director, DHS Civil Surgeon,DFPO and SMOs of the District Ludhiana & Malerkotla.
