Nurturance Program concludes at PU

Chandigarh, February 22, 2019: University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET), Panjab University organized five days Nurturance program in collaboration with NCERT, New Delhi for national talent search awardees during 18 – 22nd Feb of 2019. Aim of this program was to familiarize the students to current Research & Development in the field of Applied Science and Technology. The program consisted of various interactive talks given by prominent personalities from Panjab University, DRDO, CDAC, CSIO, NABI and IISER Scientists. Also students had on-site visits to CYCLOTRON, ANTHOROPOLOGY MUSEUM and DESIGN AND INNOVATION LABORTIRIES of UIET. The program was inaugurated by Prof. Devinder Singh, Secretary to Vice Chancellor in the presence of Dr. Savita Gupta, Director, UIET, Prof. Sarbjeet Singh, Program Coordinator, Dr. Gulfam, Program Coordinator from NCERT followed by an interactive session on ‘Science’ by Prof. B.S Bhoop.
