Rupnagar, April 12, 2025: In a vibrant celebration of health and wellness, Oceaniek Technologies collaborated with Chandigarh Hospital to organise a one-of-a-kind free 'Baisakhi Health Fair' at Chandigarh Hospital, Rupnagar. The camp welcomed children, adults, and senior citizens to engage in health check-ups, lifestyle counselling, and interactive sessions, all free of charge.

Captain Suniel Sharma, Founder, Alexarya Healthcare - the parent company that owns Chandigarh Hospital & MD, Oceaniek Technologies; Prof. Jaspreet Preeti Shahid, Chairwoman, Chandigarh Hospital and Sandeep Saini, COO, Oceaniek Technologies, addressed media on the side-lines of the health camp.

“Healthcare should be accessible to all. Through the 'Baishakhi Health Fair', we aimed to bridge that gap and create a festive, family-friendly environment where people feel encouraged prioritizing their health,” said Captain Sharma.

Prof. Jaspreet Preeti Shahid said, "The health camp provided general check-ups across six specialties such as Eye, Dental, Physiotherapy, Orthopaedics, Dermatology, and Gynaecology, as well as dedicated Child Wellness services including clinic diet and lifestyle counselling, Blood Pressure (BP) and Body Mass Index (BMI) evaluations."

A team of seven experienced doctors and ten paramedical professionals were on-ground offering their expertise and time to attendees from within a 10 km radius of the hospital, added Captain Sharma.

The doctors who made the camp a huge success were Dr. Surinder Pal, MD - Medicine, Dr. Dhruv Vashisht, MS - Orthopaedics; Dr. Monica Agarwal, Gynaecology and Obstetrics; Dr. Dikshita Goyal, MD - Dermatology; Dr. Sudhakar Yadav - Ophthalmology; Dr. Pushkin Sharma - MBBS , Master of Hospital Administration (MHA ) and Dr . Chetna Kotwal, BAMS , PGD in Yoga and Naturopathy.

Oceaniek Technologies played a vital role in organizing and promoting the event. Their involvement ranged from logistics management and on-ground coordination to digital outreach campaigns and creative community engagement.

“The organization’s youth-centric approach added energy and inclusivity to the overall experience. We believe in tech-enabled social change. Our role wasn’t just to promote but to connect people with healthcare in a fun, meaningful way,” said Sandeep Saini.

Saini added, "Oceaniek's team organised creative games and winners were awarded with gifts in form of both goody bags and even cash rewards, in order to encourage youngsters to become conscious about the need for 'Health Check-ups'."

The Baisakhi Health Fair-2025 marks the beginning of a series of community-focused health initiatives to be held in the coming months.
